The Chaun Legend Gel Polish Iced Latte is a sheer gel polish in a warm beige nude, exactly the colour of coffee with plenty of milk.

Because it is sheer, you decide how far you go: one layer lays a subtle veil over your own nail, and with two or three layers it becomes a full nude. That makes it just as much a clean girl manicure as the soft side of a milky look.

You cure each layer for 60 seconds under a LED or UV lamp, and with a base underneath and a top coat over it you are set for weeks. The polish does not run into the cuticles, so your edge stays clean. You will find every shade under gel polish.

How to use

File your nails lightly and degrease them, so the polish has grip.
Apply a thin layer of base coat and cure it for 30 seconds.
Apply a thin layer of colour, seal the free edge and cure for 60 seconds.
Repeat until you have the coverage you want.
Finish with a top coat and cure it for 60 seconds.

Do I need a lamp for gel polish?

Yes. Gel polish does not dry in the air, it cures under UV or LED light. Without a lamp the layer stays soft and sticky. You will find lamps under UV and LED lamps.

Do I need a base and top coat as well?

Yes, and it saves you a lot of hassle. The base gives the color grip on your nail and the top coat seals everything off, so your manicure lasts for weeks. Have a look at base coat and top coat.

How do I remove gel polish?

File off the shiny layer, place a cotton pad with remover on your nail and wrap foil around it. After about ten minutes the layer slides off with a cuticle pusher. Better not to pull or pick at it, because you take nail with it.
