Eye pencil and kajal: the easiest way to define your eyes

An eye pencil is the most forgiving eyeliner there is. You need nothing else, you can smudge the line out or keep it sharp, and a slip comes off with a cotton bud. At Boozyshop you find eye pencils and kajal in every colour, from deep black to burgundy.

What is the difference between an eye pencil and kajal?

Kajal, also called kohl, is the softer and richer version that originally comes from India and the Middle East. That is exactly why it feels so good on your waterline: it glides over that sensitive rim and lays down an intense, smokey line straight away. A classic eye pencil is a little firmer, which makes it handier for a sharp line along your lash line. Want the best of both? Have a look at a gel pencil: creamy like kajal, but it stays put like a gel eyeliner.

Eye pencil: sharpen or twist?

A classic pencil needs sharpening, and that is actually an advantage: a fresh point lets you work far more precisely. Rather not carry a sharpener? Go for a twist up or mechanical pencil that you simply wind up.

Eye pencil in colour: from deep black to light blue

Black is the classic and works with every eye colour. Brown is softer and more natural, perfect for your daily look. A white or nude pencil on your waterline makes your eyes look bigger and more awake. And if you want to stand out, you will find burgundy, blue, green and pastels here too.

Waterproof eye pencil and kajal

Your waterline is a tough place for a pencil. So pick a waterproof kajal or waterproof pencil if you want your line to last all day, even in warm weather or at the gym.
