What does eyebrow powder do?
You pick up a little powder with an angled brush and work it through your brow. The pigment sits both on the hairs and on the skin between them, which makes the brow look fuller without a stroke showing anywhere. Because powder is matte and builds slowly, you can barely overdo it: too much simply comes off again with a clean brush.
Why is there usually more than one shade?
Almost every eyebrow powder at Boozyshop comes as a kit with two or three shades, and there is a reason for that. A brow is not one flat colour: the inner part is naturally the lightest and the tail the darkest. With a duo you do the tail in the darker shade, the rest in the lighter one, and blend them where they meet. That is the difference between a coloured in brow and a brow that just looks that way. How do you apply eyebrow powder?
- Use an angled, firm brush. Without the right brow brush, powder disappoints.
- Tap the brush off before you put it to your brow. Powder grabs straight away.
- Start halfway along your brow and work towards the tail.
- Do the inner part last, with whatever is left on the brush.
- Brush through with a spoolie so the powder disappears into the hairs.

Powder gives the softest edge, an eyebrow pencil gives control over individual hairs and a brow pomade gives the sharpest shape and the most pigment. The nicest result usually comes from a combination: pencil or brow pen for the hairs, powder for the fill, and a brow gel to set it all.
