What are cluster lashes?

A cluster is a small fan of a few hairs with a knot or band at the base. You usually place them underneath your own lash line, which looks far more natural than a strip sitting on top. You choose how many clusters you use and in which length, so a subtle everyday look and a full glam look come from the same set.

Cluster lashes or a strip: which suits you?

Lash clusters are the better choice if you want to vary your look, or if a strip never quite sits right on your eye shape. A strip is faster, but it is always the same shape. The difference in short:

• Cluster lashes are separate fans, you decide the shape and they stay put for several days.
• Strip lashes are one band you apply in one go and take off at the end of the day.
• Half lashes sit in between and only lift the outer corner.

How do you apply lash clusters?

Start at the outer corner and work inwards, with the longest clusters on the outside and the shortest towards your nose. Place each fan underneath your own lashes, against the hairs and not on your skin. Take your time and use tweezers or an applicator, it sits much cleaner than doing it with your fingers.

DIY lash extensions with bond and seal

DIY lash extensions work in two steps: a bonder that holds the clusters in place and a sealer that locks everything in. That combination is exactly why these clusters last for days and survive a shower.
